Ways to Contribute

1.       Opening of the meeting (Agenda Item 1)

In line with Decision 14/CP.29, para 15, which encouraged Parties and relevant constituted bodies, in particular the FWG, to consider ways to further engage local communities, the FWG has invited opening remarks under Agenda Item 1 from

•         a representative of Indigenous Peoples Organizations, and
•         a representative of local communities

The representative from Indigenous Peoples will be coordinated through the IPO constituency. Local communities attending FWG 15 are encouraged to coordinate among themselves regarding the opening remarks.

At its 11th meeting, the FWG agreed to further explore more participatory and innovative formats, including poster/gallery displays and expanded speaking slots, to make the agenda more interactive and promote interregional and intergenerational exchanges and awareness-raising.

2.       Small group discussions
Small group discussions are scheduled under specific agenda items throughout FWG 15 to facilitate your active participation. Guiding Questions will be posted on the meeting page in advance.

3.       Informal Collaborative Reflection Space
At the end of each day, LCIPP contributors are invited to join an informal collaborative reflection session (17:00–17:45), including a featured collective canvas, poster and gallery displays, and a reflection area on upcoming FWG 15 agenda items. Your input through this space will help inform the implementation of the Baku Workplan of the LCIPP.

4.       Poster and Gallery Displays
If you would like to display case studies, photographs, or other relevant materials in the poster/gallery area, please email them to LCIPP@unfccc.int in advance, with a brief description of your materials, so the secretariat can reserve a display board.

Please note the secretariat will not be able to print materials onsite but will ensure appropriate arrangements for displaying them, as appropriate.

For more logistical and other information, please check the FWG 15 participants guide and the LCIPP Orientation Guide.
