The COP requested the secretariat, with the support of the Facilitative Working Group, to make the work of the Local Communities and Indigenous Peoples Platform widely accessible, including through the development of a dedicated web portal (decision 2/CP.24, para 21).

In this live demonstration event, participants will be provided with some context about the work leading up to the implementation of the LCIPP web portal and consecutively given the opportunity to test the portal, make comments, and ask questions about the functionalities.

The web portal will go through final testing, and will be officially launched in early 2021.
