The Facilitative Working Group (FWG of the LCIPP) warmly invites you to a virtual LCIPP training workshop and an informal contributors’ briefing.

The virtual training workshop is the first in a series of modules being implemented as part of Activity 4 of the LCIPP workplan 2022-2024.  It aims to strengthen the active participation of Indigenous Peoples and local communities, including youth, in the UNFCCC process and strengthen their contribution to the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

Immediately after the virtual training workshop, the informal LCIPP contributors' briefing will follow to present ways to meaningfully engage in the UN Climate Change Conference (5-15 June) and in the 9th meeting of the Facilitative Working Group (31 May to 3 June). 

The event will take place in the following time slots:

  • Session 1: 16th May, 9:00 – 11:00 AM CET (Interpretation available: Russian, French - tbc)
  • Session 2: 17th May, 6:00 – 8:00 PM CET (Interpretation available: Spanish -tbc)
