The Facilitative Working Group of the Local Communities and Indigenous Peoples Platform will hold its 13th meeting (FWG 13) from Tuesday, 10 June to Friday, 13 June 2025.
The meeting will officially commence at 14:00 CEST on Tuesday, 10th June.

The registration for the FWG 13 meeting was open from 10 March 2025 to 8 May 2025.
Meeting Venue
The FWG 13 will take place in the Nairobi 1-3 conference room located in the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) at Platz der Vereinten Nationen 2, D-53113 Bonn, Germany. View WCCB location on google maps.
Badge Collection and Registration
All officially registered participants of the FWG 13 can collect badges at the entrance to the Nairobi 1-3 conference room at the WCCB (to access WCCB, please use side entrance next to Nairobi 4 - check out the WCCB plan here) from Tuesday, 10 June, to Thursday, 12 June, from 08:30 to 17:30. Please bring your passport (ID card) with you for a check at the WCCB entrance and to present for badge collection.
Please note that access to the WCCB conference area is restricted to officially registered participants of the FWG 13 meeting. To comply with the security requirements, participants are expected to wear their badges visible at all times and in all areas. If you lose your badge, please immediately report it at the registration counter or via email (lcipp@unfccc.int).
Virtual Participation
Virtual participation for registered participants is possible. A link to join virtually will be sent via email directly to all registered participants 1-2 days before the start of the meeting.

Interpretation
Remote simultaneous interpretation to/from English, Spanish, French and Russian will be available at this meeting.

Poster/gallery exhibition
The FWG will be offering space to the contributors to share examples of climate action and solutions from their regions through a poster/gallery exhibition. The FWG invites you to bring a small collective of photos, or a small poster, to display and share with other participants.
Informal Collaborative Reflection Space
At the end of each day, LCIPP contributors are invited to join an informal collaborative reflection session. This space will feature a collective canvas and timeline for creative contributions, poster and gallery displays, and a reflection area on upcoming FWG 13 agenda items. In-person participants can contribute on site, while virtual participants are encouraged to share their reflections on the Miro Board here.
Inputs will help shape the implementation of the Baku Workplan and enrich the LCIPP work towards enhancing the engagement of Indigenous Peoples and local communities in relevant work across the UNFCCC process.
