In June, the Facilitative Working Group of the Local Communities and Indigenous Peoples Platform will hold its 7th meeting, (FWG 7, from 1 -3 June), followed by the 56th session of the subsidiary bodies (SB 56, from 6-16 June). 

To help the LCIPP community prepare for these important meetings, the LCIPP contributors' briefing will be held on Tuesday, May 17 between 16:00 - 17:00 CET. 

The briefing will give attendees an overview of the following: 

1. Provisional agenda items for the FWG 7 meetings; 

2. LCIPP activities schedules to take place in conjunction with SB 56; 

3. Update on LCIPP second three-year workplan activities that are underway in 2022; 

4. Contributors dialogue and highlights from the LCIPP community. 

This briefing provides contributors the opportunity to put forward any questions that you may have about the work under the LCIPP, as well as relevant work across the UNFCCC.
