International Inuit Day is celebrated every 7 November by the 180,000 Inuit across Inuit Nunaat (Inuit homeland). This year, join Inuit in Glasgow to celebrate this day with panel discussions, film screenings, cultural performances, and more. The Inuit Circumpolar Council will host activities throughout the day at Strathclyde University with the generous support of the Scottish Government.

The ICC is working with After the Pandemic and will conclude the day with a Cultural Exchange Musical Mash-up by hosting a ceilidh with Inuit throat singers, drum dancers, storytellers and Scottish artists. Join the Inuit Circumpolar Council to celebrate the richness and resilience of Inuit culture and engage in exchanges between Inuit and Scottish hosts.
